Ingredient

Salicylic Acid (BHA)

The oil-soluble exfoliant that cleans inside the pore.

Salicylic Acid (BHA) beauty glossary visual

Unlike water-soluble AHAs, salicylic acid dissolves in sebum — so it penetrates into the pore lining itself, loosening the plugs that become blackheads and blemishes while calming visible redness.

It is the dermatology workhorse for congestion at 0.5–2%; Coyglow's Clear Logic Toner keeps it at a gentle 1% with betaine base for reactive skin.

How to use: Evenings, two to four times weekly. On off-nights, hydrate.

Cautions: Avoid overlapping with other strong actives the same evening; not for pregnancy-high protocols.
